My Streaming Story

Around 2012 I started buying Humble Bundles to expand my Steam game library. I found the original Binding of Isaac and after a short while I was hooked. I started looking for gameplay videos on YouTube and I found Northernlion’s channel, then CobaltStreak, Richard Hammer and AdmiralBahroo. The latter 3 were competing in the Balls of Steel tournament. And then I was down the rabbit hole. Currently I watch more Twitch than TV or series or movies. I think it is a great way to experience games I don’t have money and/or time to play or I know I would not enjoy the gameplay mechanics. I can also check out games before I purchase them, or just hang out in some cool streamer’s chat!

Around 2018-2019 my husband started streaming, so I got to know the backside of everything. He doesn’t want to be a streamer, but every now and then he streams some games. I found it interesting and thought maybe one day I will try it myself too.

During the 2020 pandemic I felt bored and I wanted to turn all my gaming time into something more interesting. So randomly I just purchased a capture card and started streaming in October 2020. Since then I try to do 3 streams a week while I am working, and 4-5 days while on holiday. I’m also slowly investing in better technology, more games and channel art. I try to stream mostly in English but every now and then I have Hungarians in my chat, then I talk to them in Hungarian. If you have time please checkout my channel!
